Engineers Day is being celebrated across the country on 15th September. The date of birth of Dr. Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, popularly known as the Civil Engineer of India, was announced by the Government of India in the year 1868 to celebrate 15th September (year 1860) as Engineer’s Day.
