The admissions office of SJCIT assists the students in choosing the right academic track. We devote our resources in counselling and personal interaction. We understand and help the students define their own thought process. Counselling facilitates an ideal platform for communication and expectation sharing; helping students stay focused throughout the program.
Pass in 10+2 Or Equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, Electronics with not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the Languages (40% in case of SC / ST / Other backward classes specified in the relevant Government order for the purpose of reservation only for Karnataka students) for admission to Engineering & Technology courses or Diploma holders who have secured 45% marks in appropriate branch of Engineering in final year Diploma. Foreign students are also admitted to B.E. Courses.
Structural Engineering:
Pass with 50% aggregate marks in B.E. (CIVIL) Or Equivalent Degree
Pass with 50% aggregate marks in B.E. (CIVIL) Or Equivalent Degree
Pass with 50% aggregate marks in B.E. (Mechanical Engineering / Industrial & Production Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Tool Engineering) Or Equivalent Degree Or AMIE in the appropriate branch. GATE: ME.
Pass with 50% aggregate marks in B.E. (Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/Instrumentation Technology) Or Equivalent Degree Or AMIE in appropriate Branch. GATE: EC, TE.
Pass with 50% aggregate marks in B.E. (Computer Science & Engineering / Information Science & Engineering) Or Equivalent Degree or AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE: CS
MBA
Pass in Bachelor Degree Examinations with not less than 50% (45% for SC / ST & Category-I only for Karnataka students) of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examination. And PGCET/KMAT/CMAT Rank compulsory.
Note: For M.Tech. admission PGCET rank is compulsory.
