Department of chemistry had organized the national level webinar on “NANOMATERIALS FOR ENGG APPLICATIONS” on 30.08.2022 from 2.30 pm – 3.30 pm. Faculty members, research scholars and C-cycle students of even semester had attended the webinar.
National level webinar was promoted through whatsapp in various groups.
The resource person for webinar was Dr. Chaithanya Lekshmi Indira, Associate Professor, Department of chemistry, CMRIT, Bangalore.
The program began with guest welcome by Dr. Manjunatha M N, Prof & Head, followed by session chaired by the resource person.
The webinar was well explained about basic concept of nanomateials. Its size dependent properties, different approaches to synthesize nanomaterials and types of nanomaterials with its applications.
The session had enhanced the knowledge of students with clear understanding about nanomaterials, followed by questionnaire and ended with vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Sreenivasa K.
The feedback link was shared in the chat box and informed the participants to fill the feedback form.
Total 186 participants were participated in the webinar it includes students, faculties and research scholars of various institutions.
E-certificate was sent through registered E-mail of the participants.
